- interesting product - smart people

Cons

- too many managers, too little people actually implementing and delivering stuff - the company is stingy - hiring strategy is stupid, they were opening/closing offices with obviously no long-term (at least 3-5 years) plan in mind

Pros

Academic environment that has a lot of interesting science problems from mapping, optimization, plus all the usual user metrics. Rewarding and complex problems that often have a lo t of tradeoff.

Cons

For how good the ICs are, leadership is equally bad. Just riddled with poor decisions top/down. Also given the current state, Uber is just too strong of a competitor and you feel that pressure every day.
