Pros

I stayed with the company for 5.5 years. I left to accept contract work and transition out of commission and rideshare in general. I also had a feeling there would be more let gos and that did happen. Yeah you can wait it out and pray you dont get "let go" but why would you sit and wait. Having brought in large meetings with Enterprise companies was so fa filling. I had great leaders NEW Business Sells team (thanks D for allowing me to coach up). Lyft is blessed to still have ppl like K who understand what it takes to operate and drive the mechanics of Salesfore/Outreach/listen and wording the right emails! I still till this day will always advise younger ppl to apply for Lyft. YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT IN THE WORK if you understand WHY LYFT.

Cons

Commission tooooooooo Low (I'll never share numbers)- I am a Winner Circle Recipient so Verizon spoiled me or maybe I just get blessed with great leaders who let me do me after they understand me, but it was always a dream to work in sells for Lyft before I made that leap of faith and left after 5.5 years. I've been blessed to see Lyft at the beginning to it be a publicly traded company; to overnight being removed; to us being place in shifts that worked best for our family to them just having leaders who tried their best. So there really isn't a CON to Lyft. It's just simply giving BROKE (Niecy voice-love y'all) -at least give these items not all of us want children insurance hecka high (BAY AREA voice). Cons: No tuition assistance No volunteer matching fund- Verizon at least would match 1k to a non profit we donated to. I can say this because I told Lyft I wouldn't come work for them unless they hired me part time overnight in 2017 because I was not ready to give up working for Verizon :) in employee accounts before that dissolved No internet/cell phone credit

Pros

Flexible PTO, great health insurance, amazing co-workers, autonomy (for a while), and the snacks were nice.

Cons

Frequent org restructures, salary is too low, management doesn't care about employees (especially if you're not part of their 'crew'), stock is worthless, Engineers and Product are treated better than any other roles, overworked and under paid.
