Pros

Independence, control of work schedule

Cons

The algorithm is terrible. It cancels you on the way to passengers wasting time and money for the driver and frustrating the passenger.

Pros

Good people who give more to the company than it may deserve.

Cons

Feels like golden handcuffs on a sinking ship. Leadership lacks accountability and does not seem to have a viable path forward. Employees are expected to "Do more with less" and "Stay nimble" due to layoffs as though that's a good thing.

Pros

I made great money on my own and met some awesome passengers.

Cons

Until two weeks ago, Sunday I was unable to take a lady who was traveling with her two year old daughter without a car seat. I told her that I am sorry but for her safety I can not travel without the child in a car seat and I could not drive her. The lady yelled obscenities at me and kicked my car twice. LYFT only responded by freezing my drivers account. They never called, texted, or cared at all. I tried multiple times to reach out to LYFT but with no response. Don’t expect LYFT to care about you if your life is in danger. Ridiculous.
