Pros

Opportunity to make lots of money quickly Not limited in your hours Can effectively run your own business, how YOU want

Cons

The company has shown disregard for its employees The driver support number has been active and inactive many times during my time with Lyft 2017-2020... This resulted in a couple disastrous situations Pay has continuously dropped, while costs to the passengers have risen Maintenance costs are heavy for full time, long term drivers Lyft execs care too much for their third and fourth yachts and not enough for the men and women who took them from nothing up to a massive billion dollar company

Pros

• bagel Wednesdays • small engineering teams made it generally easy to do good work • they made efforts to have All Hands be relevant to most people • lunches were pretty good

Cons

• didn't compensate their early employees well • didn't make a point to make up for the poor compensation over the years • later employees with less experience and less knowledge about the company were given many times more in compensation due to the competitive employee market
