      Pros

      LyondellBasell offers good benefits and has a solid reputation in the industry.

      Cons

      LyondellBasell does not have a positive work environment. Managers over scrutinize employees' performance in order to facilitate forced ranking. There are very few opportunities for growth, instead people are shifted to jobs laterally. Managers are scared to make decisions and stand behind them.

      Pros

      Great people to work with, great benefit- offers retirement along with 401k. Offers challenging environment. One the best if not the best safety culture. Company truly cares about its employees and their well being.

      prepare to work 50+ hours, new hire process too slow.

      This place was great to work for. Friendly people who would help you get the job done. Team environment. Really great.

      Big company, which is always hard to get any approvals from upper management. They were still readily available when needed.
