      Pros

      Great people, very accommodating. New interns will learn a lot more than they expect to. The Supply Chain department has more resources than you can count.

      Cons

      If you are not vocal and expressive around the office, you can easily be overlooked. Although your work should speak for you, in the office you are expected to build relationships.

      Pros

      Working in operations at LyondellBasell provides great income and great benefits. When you do have time off, you really enjoy the time you spend with friends and family.

      Cons

      While safety is preached, the real focus is on reportable / recordable safety issues. Long term health and safety are not a primary concern. Work / Life balance can be difficult as you will either volunteer for overtime or be drafted to it if your crew needs man-power.
