      Pros

      Depending on the site you work at, you can have either great people with little office politics. A Lyondell site is a great place to work, a Basell site not so much.

      Cons

      There are obvious clique's and either you're in them or you're shunned. There is not a good culture. Not many training opportunities compared to other companies Pay isn't competitive.

      Situated well in the petro-chemical Industry from market forces for low cost energy consumption and high demand of end-product sales.

      Cons

      Executive leadership operates from a perspective that human capital is cheap and easily replaceable. The messages in the communications to employees don't correspond to the execution taken.
