There haven't been salary increases in nearly 3 years regardless of earning professional licensure in that time. With mining on the downhill,the word is that is not set to change anytime soon. The result has been a steady number of bright, hardworking, young engineers leaving the company, a trend that I anticipate accelerating come 2016 unless year end bonuses earnestly reward merit. A recent email from HR informed of performance reviews that are however not aligned with merit increases. If no employee incentives come with these reviews, it would seem their only purpose is to be a tool for HR to trim fat moving forward. All in all, the outlook is questionable, and a lack of transparency by management keeps the rumor mill churning.

Bad management Poor inter-department organisation is maddening. Seniority is prioritized over performance. Echo chamber issues due to lack of outside experience.
