Coworkers are typically great to work with depending on your team. Work/life balance can be fantastic if you work remotely. Great place to start your career and launch to another company in 2-3 years. Education reimbursement, once you get some expensive certs start looking to leave.
Cons
“Perform or be replaced” is a terrible thing to be greeted with during your onboarding, I also heard water is wet (spoiler, they don’t fire those who don’t perform). This is a job and experience not a career unless you have a C or a V at the beginning of your title. If you aren’t on a proposal team do not expect to ever receive a bonus. You will be lucky to get a 3% cost of living adjustment each year, typically less because they don't provide actual raises. Nepotism cannot be understated, be careful of what you discuss; everyone knows someone. Under qualified and unqualified placed in high positions driving company into the ground. Hemorrhaging contracts, losing recompete constantly. Shooting for the moon on contracts when they barely can perform/obtain subcontract work. Thin-skinned management letting go of good workers that they perceive as a threat to their employment rather than stepping aside; rarely listens to constructive criticism.
