Pros
The product is amazing! Hands down one if the best brands from a product quality perspective. The staff is extremely passionate. Not that anyone goes to work with the intention of making friends, but the team overall is really sweet and it's easy to get along with most of your colleagues which really helps foster a team environment. Brand creator, Dany Sanz, is AMAZING and one of the most humble and down to earth people to work with. Her spirit, passion and energy continues to drive the business. When they hire people that share her vision - great things cam and will happen!
Cons
The management can be a bit hard of hearing. At the time of my employment the company was too top heavy which really affected the ability to get things done. Working in beauty isn't glamorous at all. There is a lot of manual labor on the part of the staff both corporate and field, like lifting heavy boxes all the time and taxing hours - think 12 to 14 hour days with little to no recognition. The staff is overall pretty committed and incredibly hard working so even in those painful moments you're usually not completely on your own. However, for over the last 2 years there has been a slow bleed of some of their best talent. They could also do a better job of promoting from within. They have archaic rules about 2 years before an employee can get promoted, but you quickly learn that that rule is selectively used depending on the employee, which is bad for morale. They make excellent products for women of color and rarely ever market to them either visually or in their messaging (huge missed opportunity).
