Pros

Average pay - average stress - predictability - like working for the government - the benefits are comparable to working for the United States Government as a civil servant -

Cons

overpopulated by former military who cannot get over their former selves - need to recognize people's skill sets - there is a greater need to evaluate the skill sets of employees and place them appropriately - unfortunately, the company is concerned with billable contractual hours - nothing sets this company apart from others which seek United States Government contracts

Pros

Pros If you need a job take it. The company is like any other large company so therefore benefits and everything else is standard.

Cons

Cons Staffing company to the government! ManTech loves to claim that they offers solutions, but at the end of the day the company just loves to put bodies in chairs. Also be aware that company reorganizations and turnover can hurt your career chances. ManTech is subject to anything the government client wants and desires. Your career is based on the length of your government contract. ManTech doesn't know how to maintain top talent.

Pros

Large company with multiple contracts. Numerous job openings. Getting to quit!

Cons

They are too large and do not have a set direction. They will do anything for a dollar. They have a horrible reputation as being the lowest bidder and providing the lowest workers. There are constant management changes. They make promisses and to not follow through such as they will move you up, yet years later you are still on the same project with no possiblity of promotion. Only after you tell them you are leaving, do they try to move you up. They do not stand up for the employees. The customer is always right. Even if something is spelled out in a contract, they will agree to the change because it doesn't affect them. The project manager is the one that has to deal with it. They are affraid of getting on the COTR's badside and that is at the expense of the employees.
