Pros

The ship is going down and the top leadership are all navy. Not since WWII has a skipper gone down with the ship.

Cons

No upward career enhancing opportunities.

Pros

Don't look into work delays of DEs - usually caused by client ineptitude. Decent pay. 100% remote. Had to pass COMPTia Security+ ce exam to get access to systems.

Cons

Don't look into work delays of DEs - usually caused by client ineptitude Military clients thatm ake you address them with salutation (i.e. Mr./Ms., etc.) Militry clients silo;d as hell Military teams' right-hand doesn't know what left-hand is doing Military clients don't know how to think or themselve and are not self-starters. They don't pursue due diligence, can't prblem sove, and only act when kicked in the rear by their CO. Military client teammates throw each other under the bus. Military client teammates couldn't make it in the real business world due to unprofessionalism and lack of breadth of knowledge and problem-solving skills and lack of patience and low stress-out threshhold due to being overworked. Military teammates think they are knowedgable about the tech industry when it is actually the exact opposite with their delusions making them surly and painfully ignorant to Silicon Valley and other tech professionsals from the real world. Had "hurry up and wait" mentality like their military clients. Spent nine months waiting for Secret clearance background investigation and still didnt get it by the time i left. Had to go into military installation to get DoD CAC card to log into GFE PC. Had not one, but two PCs; one for Mantech and one for Govt. GFE for dB access. Had to pass COMPTia Security+ ce exam to get access to systems. Unapologetically got rid of all DEI programs b/c of Trump adminstration policies. Bunch of rednecks running the place. Don't make any effort to accomodte the West Coast developers b/c all metings and SLAs are on CST time. Think the "customer is always right" mentality, even when the client is insulting them to their face.
