Pros

Salaries aren't the highest, but not the lowest, but ManTech is one of the more stable contracting companies to work for. When you are eligible for health insurance, benefits, etc(exempt employee); they are incredible. I've worked in 3 different locations(Middle East and US)and have loved the high majority of my coworkers. ManTech gave me a well paying job when I ETS'd from the Army and I'll always have a softspot for them.

Cons

Job security is always sketchy if on contract, though thank God, I've never been in the position to get laid off. My only gripe with ManTech is that they've had a contract for a while, they begin to worry more about filling a slot and hiring at lower salary than finding the best fit at a higher salary.

Pros

Good with rehires and maximizes amount of employees for the contract

Cons

Contract funding and personnel management are frequently imbalanced. For overseas careers, you can forget the matching 401k as they no longer offer it.

Pros

A large percentage of employees are former military so veterans will find a very familiar atmosphere. Not afraid of giving new employees important responsibilities. Better than average commitment to employee growth.

Cons

Definitely two classes of employees: Corporate - who are secure in their jobs and Contractors - who are jettisoned as soon as their government contract ends. Recruiting Managers and Human Resource department are not always in-synch - prospective employees should ensure everything is in writing and expect to reject the first couple offer letters as being to generic. Regardless of what anyone tells you, if you don't get it in writing you're not going to get it. Depending on which division you work for, vacation/paid holiday benefits are below average,
