Pros

There are great memories of when this company was run by people who cared about their employees

Cons

Do you want to feel like you are worthless? Want to do twice the work for the same or less results? Want to be micromanaged to the point of not even being sure how you made it to the senior recruiter level? Than this is the company for you! Upper management really has a knack for making you feel like the years you devoted your blood, sweat and tears are completely don’t matter at all and neither do you! BUT WAIT! There’s more! Watch your colleagues and friends drop like flies through mass layoffs and extensive burnout from top producers as the company slowly crumbles around you. Good luck MAS!

Pros

This business WAS such an amazing mom and pop company to work for who truly cared for its employees …. In 2020. Had such an uplifting culture, work hard and play hard kept recruiters encouraged to exceed their own personal goals.

Cons

MAS was bought out by a corporate investment firm who quickly failed an upward trending, team oriented atmosphere into a cut-throat staffing agency with no regard for its employees. Created metrics that forced former teammates to work against each other out of pure desperation to try and hit their metrics., while never feeling like they have real job security. Upper leadership has the mentality “get on board or get out”. VP’s ok with losing tenured employees because “we need fresh blood anyway”. Upper leadership with no healthcare staffing experience making process changes without even being able to navigate their own CRM or even understanding what healthcare recruiters actually do day to day.

Pros

Non with the new MAS

Cons

This company at first was the staffing agency to work for, but since the new buy out from Periscope Equity and the new leadership they brought on they have DESTROYED this company. No one in leadership that is there now knows anything about healthcare or the staffing industry. They will use you and abuse you till they get what they want out of you and throw you away! They promise growth within the company and hire people from underneath you using a 3rd party recruiting agency. The COO (Sue Leary) publicly threatened the whole sales team, and account managers when introducing a new VP. Complaints were made to the HR department and it was pushed underneath the rug and looked the other way. The CEO (Shannon) and COO (Sue) said that they predicted over 75% of the staff will resign and they are okay with that (tells you how much they really cared for their employees).
