I've worked at other consulting groups and the culture at MCA is one that I can get on board with. My co-workers all have a great attitude when it comes to solving the client's issues and we all seem to work great together. I cannot say the same for other consulting companies. MCA does strive for a good balance of satisfying the customer and the employee. I am very happy to be working here.

Cons

With any consulting job there is a fair amount of travel that is involved. MCA does a great job of making sure their employees are satisfied with their work and life by providing some give and take when it comes to traveling.

The title of this review is actually the company tag line. It fits perfectly. mcaConnect has a very solid partnership with Microsoft which allows you access to internal MSFT resources when you have challenges. You are able to work with the latest tools to implement challenging new solutions including Azure and IoT applications. Having to ability to work across so many arenas is awesome (oil & gas, pharma, computer manufacturing, iron water works, etc.). People in other divisions are glad to jump in and assist when you need assistance.

Cons

As with any remote work scenario, you feel a bit disconnected from some others within the company. However, a lot of effort is put in to ensure that you don't miss out on important communications.
