Seems heavily affected by economic uncertainty. Promotions are few and far between, pay raises don’t match actual contributions to the team or inflation, market adjustments aren’t always given. Management can be great in one department and extremely poor in another with no effective plan or resolution for it. It’s really hit or miss and very department specific.

1. Too much red tape (too many senior people trying to do too many things at once) 2. Progression within role is impossible (seen many people stay at 1 position for 10+ years)
