Pros

* Opportunities to grow within the company if you take the initiative and are willing to continue to learn more. * Good work to life balance. * “WindMaster” is a well-known trademark in the industry. WindMaster sign stands are basically the "Kleenex" equivalent is to tissue paper industry. Many people in the industry know the name WindMaster because of (50 +) years of having a reliable product and a good team providing support for the brand name, which in many cases translate to an easy sale because of our good track record. *Upper management is very passionate about the business and it shines throughout many people at the company, which makes you want to put forth your best effort. *The traffic control products industry is recession proof.

Cons

*Out of date employee tools, email, CRM system, Etc.

A good company with some downsides

Pros

- While the company is relatively small, there is great opportunity for growth for those who seek it and make it well known their goals with management. I came in and went from essentially customer service - to consideration for regional sales position - to becoming the estimator, all within 1.5 years. - The team is for the most part a good bunch and easy to get along with - Work life balance is good. - Vacation and personal time benefits are good and we do get a nice 10 days off during christmas/new years - The work isn't very difficult - I think the company is poised for continued growth if we make the investments needed. - Help is there if you need it and ASK, however you need to make yourself heard. If you do not speak up that's where problems can occur.

Cons

- Fear to take risks or make changes - Company seems to invest in some areas, while neglecting others. -Compensation is not bad - I would say in an average range for the type of work. They have recently increased their 401k contribution which is appreciated but do think it is still rather low (we all would like more money though right?) - Sales is allowed to run the show, which at times can be frustrating. - For estimation, the work load is typically high. While doable with one person, we at times have to reach out to other depts. for help. -Out of date tools, email (still using lotus notes), etc. - With Covid-19 still running rampant - many employees could work from home but do not have the ability to do so. Should things get worse, we do not have infrastructure in place.
