Pros

Excellent benefit, great supports from PIs and lab members, flexible hours and friendly people to work with, including the Facility and HR people

Cons

Fast lab member turn over; but it is the nature of a research institute. Cost of living at Cambridge is expensive.

Pros

MIT is a very special place, with a very human and unique culture. It is great to be surrounded by extremely bright and inteligente people while feeling at home and not intimidated.

Cons

As a parent, I'd appreciate not as lengthy day-care placement ( can extend for over 2 years), as well as cheaper day-care rates.
