Good caring people.
Pros
Everyone I work with is incredibly respectful, caring, and will go out of their way to ensure I have everything I need. Asking for help is not only expected but highly encouraged. You never have to go it alone. Great community. So long as you self-advocate, there will always be someone there to help you. Amazing place to learn. Great work life balance. The flexible schedule is also a huge plus.
Cons
The flat structure leads to 3 group leaders for anywhere between 50 and 100 staff. It may feel like there isn't much you can do in terms of career path. Despite this if you know what you want there will always be someone you can talk to who can help. Many of the groups feel a bit isolated and almost all of them are very different from the rest. Advice about navigating one group may not be universal. It can be easy to feel isolated if you just keep your head down and do your work. Without proper self-advocacy, you may feel left out or neglected by the leadership which is already stretched thin.
