Pros
No need to work hard. No one else does. Work life balance was great, because no one pushed to do anything, you could float in and out at any time.
Cons
Specifically about the Media Lab: not enough room here to explain. Raises are non existent. Pay isn't close to market rate. Collaboration doesn't exist, no matter what they might say. Nothing changes in this place. Was told by HR that to get a promotion, I should leave. HR told this to many people in many areas. HR was incompetent on a variety of levels.
