      As with most academic institutions, this can be a great place to work depending on your advisor. If you have a great relationship with this person, you can enjoy significant benefits including fully paid tuition, healthcare, research trips, etc.

      Cons

      Because your advisor controls your experience significantly, a bad advisor has a drastically negative effect on very many aspects including your other school obligations.
