Great employer, amazing benefits, but you have to be dedicated to get promoted.

Cons

MIT faculty members lead the organization and they work incredibly hard, so you will need to at least try to keep up!

My time at MIT was great, surrounded by extremely intelligent individuals. Great benefits and flexible work hours were good perks. It felt like a very supportive community.

Cons

No major cons, obviously working as a postdoctoral associate the time there was a fixed term. This was a great place to launch a career, but was not a long term position.
