Pros
The career opportunities you get from being an MIT student are incredible. If you know what you're doing and put yourself out there, finding a job is pretty straightforward as people already assume great things about you because you're at MIT.
Cons
It's tough -- the competition can sometimes be fierce, not because MIT itself supports it, but because you're in a stressful environment with other very intelligent people.
