MIT offers an exceptional environment for researcher. There are numerous resources one can use in campus and it is a life time opportunity to meet the Toppest people in the world.

Cons

The pressure is expected high because one will be surrounded with talented scholars. The salary is not enough for living cost at Boston

- Incessant pool of intellectual stimulus - Exposure to the most cutting-edge research in science and technology - Youthful and vibrant city of Cambridge

Cons

- Salaries/stipends are not exactly commensurate with the uber-expensive surrounding of Cambridge - Lack of subsidized housing for most grad students - Unpaid TA positions (not the case at that other school in Cambridge)
