Pros
Work-life balance, great benefits, wonderful co-workers and a sense of community; awareness of social justice issues with management increasingly addressing DEI concerns.
Cons
Lots of shakeups at MIT Open Learning recently with many in leadership roles leaving and not much communication about who is leaving or why. There is also a lack of alignment between the various departments and DLCs, because everything is pretty siloed. Management is bad at communicating expectations for advancement, with the ladder to promotion being unclear.
