      Pros

      Genuinely, I've met the greatest, smartest, and most kind people in the world at MITRE. Our little division within the organization makes coming into work worth it everyday.

      Cons

      The culture is much more laid back than a lot of companies. It's nice not having to compete in the rat race, but sometimes this work culture creates people with less ambition and initiative.

      Fosters newcomers and has good benefits for someone just starting out or looking for their final job before retirement. Kind people. Good opportunities to learn and grow. Willing to pay tuition for employees wanting to go back to school. Flexible hybrid work schedule.

      Cons

      Corporate level execs are a joke. Managers, directors, and group leaders are amazing. Numerous execs who've made the wrong call EACH AND EVERY SINGLE TIME. Staff are frustrated.
