      Pros

      Tremendous job flexibility. Since MITRE has multiple FFRDC contracts, it’s easy to move into a new work area if you need a change. Work-life balance is excellent, and flexible hours working on critical items of national importance provides great incentive to get up and do the job!

      Cons

      Like all larger companies, work politics sometimes shows up. Nevertheless, navigating these waters is a must for almost any job.
