Pros
MITRE works on a lot of interesting problems that you won't find in a lot of other companies. The people are great, work-life balance is respected, and there's decent career mobility.
Cons
Senior leadership (SVP and above) over the past few years exhausted any good will they had with employees. In the past few months, however, things have drastically improved. The CEO changed along with disliked SVPs and immediately improved employee benefits. Overall, the mood is improving.
