Pros

Amazing training staff who are all extremely passionate about what they do. A test must be taken before starting proving you know the pizzas, salads, facts about the company, etc. which I enjoyed doing because it helps weed out those who aren't taking the job seriously and don't want to put in a little effort by studying and knowing the food. Co-workers all all extremely helpful and its like a close knit family. Great pay - at the store I am at in Foothill Ranch, its $11 an hour starting + tips. Great core values including my favorite that has to do with individuality. Besides having to wear a MOD T-shirt during every shift, MOD lets you be yourself by letting you basically wear what you want (besides the MOD T-shirt) and expressing yourself in a positive way. They don't care if you have facial hair and come in with a mo-hawk - if you're passionate about what you're doing and and have a great personality, you'll most easily be hired. Best job I've ever had. Thanks Scott and Ally Svenson for creating such an amazing place!

Cons

Training is hectic because at MOD, you're trained to do everything: work the assembly line, cash register, oven, dining room, prep, dish washing, making milkshakes, etc., as well as told to know from memory how to make all nine classic pizzas as well as a seasonal pizza and three salads. All that information over a four day training period took it's toll on the brain but everyday gets easier. And in actuality, what I just mentioned isn't really a con. The GM's and trainers at MOD just want you to put in some effort, be passionate, and know the basics and everyday gets a little easier.
