      Bad experience, do not be an affiliate

      Pros

      Good insurance, it can be possible to transfer to a state civil service position for SOME jobs but don’t hold your breath.

      Cons

      Horrible management if you are an affiliate. Basically you’re an expendable worker who works with civil service protected workers. MPHI will not back you up and will leave you hung out to dry with everything from pay raises to state workers laying their work on you. If you need a job it’s not the worst, but either transfer to the state or find something better.
