Working as a Summer Intern (Civil Engineering)

5 day workweek, 8:30pm-5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch-break Benefits include an MTR staff card for free MTR trips! Interesting experiences for engineering students interested in railway, tunnels etc. Usually get to work in urban areas/ near MTR stations, so it is relatively convenient to travel to work

Cons

The company is a client company (as opposed to contractor or consultant), so as a summer intern I learnt less than I would at other companies that work more on-site. Not as many interesting experiences for those less interested in railway and tunnel projects.
