      Management was frustrating : Not available even though open door policy was preached Direct lead had to evaluate employees but was in an entirely different building and on another project. Between the lead and management, no one truly understands the weeds of particular jobs. Constructive criticism is appreciated when the one giving it knows what they're talking about. My personal experience with the company led to anxiety and depression medication which I'd never been on before. The harder I tried, the more critical management became. Too many good ol boy employees vs qualified individuals. Nellis AFB employees are so detached, they have their own chaotic environment. Traveling to other locations was such a relief on the rare occasions it happened.

      Pros

      - We own our work (employee owners!), so everyone has a major influence and impact - Leadership and coworkers truly care about employees, their families, and the customer needs - There is a lot of integrity across the board; people tend to do what is right, even if it means less benefit to themselves - The work itself is really engaging, and the coworkers are hardworking yet still fun - People are very professional, build each other up, and take care of each other - Management has handled many adverse situations (e.g., COVID) well over the years - Great benefits!!!

      Cons

      - There isn't really anything substantial (there are always outliers, but those are usually resolved quickly).

      Pros

      MTSI's number one Core Value is Employees Come First. It is a philosophy of finding excellent talent and treating them well individually. Good business results flow from treating the employees respectfully.

      Cons

      MTSI has recently transitioned from a small, privately owned company to a medium sized, employee owned company. The growing pains associated with the transition are to be expected but still very real.
