Good people. Good pay and benefits. Good work life balance. Brand name and solid finances.

Cons

Bureaucratic and slow. Ancient systems. No understanding of the world outside Japan. Very gender based roles. Almost zero female managers.

Find it hard to generate P&L so typical cost cutting at mid management level is commonplace Behind the times in terms of working from home ie it's frowned upon generally Hard to get promoted due to lack of size / natural turnover of staff
