Pros

None that I can think off maybe the remote aspect

Cons

Sink or swim environment. Very clipped they expect you to teach yourself and when you do they complain why things aren’t done in 20 min. Most condescending counter productive environment I’ve ever been in. The managers use this crutch they don’t have time because they don’t even know themselves. Waste of time avoid like the plague. Complete gas light culture. Awful don’t do it you’ve been warned.

Pros

Some teams are good off you get lucky

Cons

They just moved to 4 or 5 days a week in office across the USA. Technology is behind. People who have been there for decades are being told to relocate or leave. Constant layoffs your coworkers will just disappear one day. They hate taking good people out of their position so if you’re good at your job you’ll be there for decades. Tampa is the worst thing that has happened to operations. They’re hiring people with no experience ABs no background and there’s no one to train them since they’re all laidoff

Pros

I was really happy with MUFG and had a great manager and team when I first started, and had a very manageable caseload. We have been 2 days a week in office since RTO (2022) which has been amazing for work/life balance. Nice amenities at the office, garage parking, company events Flexible work schedule

Cons

Unfortunately, senior management here is a bit of a sh*tshow now, and its common for me to log in first thing in the morning to the world ending and *****URGENT**** emails- when these tasks are really not even urgent! Its normal for (some) managers here to yell at others on conference calls and be condescending towards employees when questions are asked. And if you dont do things ASAP!! the world will just crash and burn to them. 4 days in office will be in effect soon, and its ridiculous to make employees work primarily in office when alot of us work FAR more efficiently at home. I understand coming into the office for important meetings, events etc. but forcing us 4 days in office is so pointless. I will definitely be leaving this company and seeking a remote opportunity.
