Pros

good, all-round company to work for, salary and benefits were excellent in the magazines division

Cons

commuting in London is always a challenge, but it is still a great location, nonetheless. No other particularly adverse conditions at all.

Pros

A fantastic environment in terms of friendliness. The people at Macmillan are supportive, approachable, offer a great deal of guidance etc. My role offers a great deal of flexibility too. Work/life balance is easily achieved.

Cons

Definitely underpaid for efforts however this is the nature of the field. No clear avenues for career progress. Recently aligned with our international counterparts, we are now being offered training internally.
