Pros

1. Work-life balance. When busy time, you normally work to 11:00pm - 12:00am. It is far better than other investment banks. 2. You get to develop your skills and meet client at the very first day.

Cons

1. It is not a first tier investment bank. So your working experience will not be highly appreciated 2. Mid management team is not capable. Thus, you could not get clear guidance.

Pros

Strong brand, employer that encourages entrepreneurial endeavour with global opportunities and increasing share in major markets with leading position in emerging asian markets

Cons

Financial services are currently experiencing difficult market re: job losses and profitability - Macquarie is no different re: job security. Scale is growing beyond that of nimble upstart which makes it increasingly similar to other corporate behemoths
