Pros

Friendly and Collaborative Coworkers: Colleagues at MacroGenics are known for being friendly and easy to work with, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Cons

1. Limited Career Promotion Opportunities: Career advancement at MacroGenics is slow, and employees may face challenges in climbing the corporate ladder. 2. Insufficient Recognition: Despite hard work, employees may find that their efforts are not adequately recognized by upper management, which could impact morale and job satisfaction. 3. Management Insistence on Personal Opinions: Upper management may be inflexible in their opinions, potentially leading to decision-making that is not always in the best interest of the company or its employees. 4. Caution in Salary Negotiations: Prospective employees should approach salary negotiations carefully to ensure they receive fair compensation, especially considering the limited career progression opportunities.

Pros

- Good pay if you stay on long enough - in general coworkers are very friendly and easy to work with - benefits package is quite good, if a little bit pricey for dependents - diversity and inclusion is strong

Cons

- business decisions are being made to boost stock price at all costs without consideration for what is feasible for the current staffing level and infrastructure - inter-department collaboration is hamstrung by upper management being disorganized and out of touch - complete removal of hybrid work options for most groups - unreasonable work loads for many groups due to overly lean staffing
