Pros

Many employees shop, talk and having fun during work hours. If you are focused on your job and work hard, engage customers and sell (shows on your scorecard) you will get rewarded with Macy Money and the Management will show a lot respect to you. Co Workers are wonderful and you always get enough hours to work.

Cons

I had 100 points on my scorecard often- and was under the Top 10 Sellers in the store. Still worked for less then 10 Dollars an hour. That was my reason to leave.

Pros

The discount is pretty good. Company offers associates lots of incentives for opening up Macy's credit cards. Vacation time is much more than most other companies offer. Management training program was extremely informative.

Cons

Long hours, especially during the Christmas holiday and while preparing for corporate visits. Human Resources department is not very helpful and it takes awhile to get payroll issues resolved.
