Pros

Really exciting technology. Get to work on state of the art and to push innovation forward. Interesting engineering challenges. Also, if you get involved then you get to participate in all kinds of fun events like demos, conferences, etc.

Cons

I love everything about Magic Leap. My only complain is that I wish it could afford to pay more competitive salaries in Bay Area in the context of what is competitive compared to the tech giants. But for being a startup, the compensation is competitive.

Pros

-Paid travel for the most part to different locations. -New technologies seemingly everyday. -Decent Salaries and benefits

Cons

-Management forces employees to work nights, weekends, and 18 hr+ days to achieve their goals -Work life balance non existent if you want to work here be prepared to live at the office -Upper management frequently uses fowl language in meetings to try and get people pumped, if you are not use to it will take you back a bit -Release objectives utterly absurd hence the long work hours -Management frequently ignores employee issues and career path objectives, if you get in you will be expected to do all things all the time for your self and will be put on an island, if they dont need you anymore they will just remove you with no reason As a result of the above mentioned issues Magic Leap has setup many internal employee HR resolutions, wither they listen to you or not is another matter entirely.
