Pros

Like other reviews say, everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Good pay and benefits for new grads and junior-level employees looking for some stability and a good place to start for a couple years. We're truly committed to remote work and offer great PTO, which is great for work/life balance and helps prevent major burnout.

Cons

The acquisition by Sinch was a mistake. Almost nobody thinks Sinch leadership really cares about us beyond being their cash cow and pushing for unrealistic growth to make up for other portfolio losses. There is really no good roadmap to truly unify our email brands with Sinch's other products, even nearly two years later. Every now and then we have a big town hall reminding us to "Win Together," and then things go back to the same mix of vagueness, condescension, and surface-level communication. Sinch-level management is extremely out-of-touch, focused on short-term success and unrealistic projections, and does not want to hear valid concerns or criticisms about strategy, employee engagement and morale, or anything else. On the email-specific level, it feels like there are a lot of knowledge gaps around which brand handles/represents which audiences and products/services, and even gaps around basic email knowledge. Even if everyone gets along and wants to win (together!), that can impact project success, or even if a project gets done as opposed to slowly fading away. There also aren't really clear paths for career growth beyond an entry-level step or two, which stifles what you can do if you're looking for opportunities to nurture your career beyond a couple years.
