CEO Has No Clue How To Run A Company & Horrible Manager

Pros

Great product and fun industry. VP of Sales is the only logical business mind in the work place.

Cons

The CEO gossips about his employees to other employees. He blames his failures on his employees and lacks leadership. He runs around calling himself a CEO giving real CEO's a bad name. He is a small business owner with a great product, but changes direction at a blink of an eye. He is late on payroll and doesn't pay commissions on time. His turnover rate is higher than Mt.Everest and that says it all. Future employee beware!!!

A company who's CEO constantly changes direction. The CEO creates a toxic environment.

Pros

New hires want to contribute and do a good job. Relaxed working environment. Company catered lunch with beer on Fridays. Fair compensation and benefits.

Cons

Unfortunately within weeks new employees realize that just pleasing the management's current and ever changing focus is more important than performing the job functions they were hired for. CEO gossips about employee's job performance to other employees and makes degrading and sexist comments non stop. Apparently this was a startup company and funding was sketchy. It seemed like every Monday the CEO would change the company's direction over the weekend and whatever tasks we were working on Friday would be obsolete on Monday.

Pros

The product is quite strong.

Cons

The CEO loves to micromanage and changes direction daily. While he is trying to develop a"cool" corporate culture, he consistently undermines his own efforts. Most of the top talent left in the spring/ summer of 2015 and now there are a few interns remaining (doesn't have to pay them much).
