Pros

Located in Western Phila suburbs.

Cons

Very inbred culture, with little diversity - maybe due to no influx of employees. MLH is one of the lowest paying healthcare systems, even accounting for the fact that employees don't have to pay the Phila. wage tax. Measly employer match on 403(b), too. System needs to do overall market salary surveys, in order to attract outside talent. . Much better workplace when we were part of Jefferson Health System.

Pros

Competitive salary; great benefits; reimbursement for school, certifications, and con ed's; support and promote personal growth

Cons

Too much extracurricular homework, too much emphasis on Magnet designation and other worthless certifications
