A joke.

Pros

When I look back on my time at blur, I find it really hard to think of any. My colleagues were fantastic, and most of them were genuinely supportive and hard working.

Cons

Fantastic employees pushed out, and even mocked within earshot. I worked at blur Group for 8 months and the CEO never said hello to me. Don't think I stayed conscious once in the fortnightly monotonous and self indulgent rant from Phillip Letts. He's the worst CEO I've ever come into contact with, and I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who still has to work underneath him. I think it sums up blur Group to say that all employees were forced to leave positive 5* Amazon reviews of Letts' book (which is complete and utter drivel, not to mention incredibly hypocritical). Do not work here. Not worth it.

Good people, poor execution

Pros

The workers on the ground are some of the best people around, Sales team work their socks off attempting to sell, the tech team are talented. Original concept was good.

Cons

Get some walls, and stop playing that damn stupid music! People don't like it. The company is run in a such a way that you MUST believe the rhetoric that is spouted at you, without this absolute devotion you will be pushed to the side. The moment you show any inclination that you aren't happy or that you are attempting to help others in their progress since they aren't happy you are labelled as being partisan. The move from startup to enterprise has been the failing. The expectation to be there beyond working hours (9-6) is so forced that people are intimidated.

Rewarding Hard Work

Pros

Expect a fast paced, challenging environment, but if you're prepared to put in the hard work, its extremely rewarding. Career progression and new exciting experiences are there for those who are prepared to stand up and be counted.

Cons

Balancing work/life can at times be difficult.
