Pros

-I worked for the Makino USA subsidiary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Great Bonus structure, opportunity for significant earnings even for admin and support employees. -Fast paced, advanced technical engineering projects in growth industries create interesting and engaging work for admin and support like Corporate Finance. -Global Company, but run more like a private firm from the US standpoint. Little interference from Japan. -Great people!

Cons

-Open Office workspace concept is great for collaborative functions like Project -Engineering, but not so much for Corporate Finance and Accounting. -Frequent Management changes created instability and lack of direction. -Death by Meeting culture. -Few advancement opportunities with slow growth and slow retirements.
