Pros

When I first joined, I loved the culture, the mission and the vision. I was able to make an impact and that felt good. They do ensure you aren’t going into the office with covid going on which I appreciate.

Cons

The culture became very toxic, myself and everyone else was working so many hours and your reward for that was more work. Nothing is ever good enough for the exec team, they want more and more. This company needs all new leadership at the helm to really change the culture. The favoritism is unreal.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, much appreciated! Working in such a fast-growing company is challenging and means we need to take extra care of ourselves and make sure to protect our work-life balance and energy. I’m concerned that you didn’t have a great experience with this and I’d love to chat more. Pros

Nice perks like Bonusly, free DoorDash fees, discount program, and if your schedule permits, fun and creative sessions for things like yoga, holiday crafts, relaxation, and lunch and learns. Benefits are pretty good. Compensation is at or slightly below market.

Cons

Every sprint, every project you do here will be interrupted by other projects and emergency priority shifts. You likely will not have time for personal learning and self-directed growth. micro-managing, toxic culture unless you are a favorite.

Pros

- Company shifted from in Office to WFH with little to no issue and has continued to be responsible regarding Office re-openings - Many of the teams at Malwarebytes have some amazing people on them and running them, if you are lucky and end up in one of these teams you will have a great time - In the last couple quarters there have been major products improvements and that has made the future of the company seem much brighter - Malwarebytes has a great reputation in the IT world and it is definitely earned

Cons

- Executive leadership has failed to provide a unified vision of what the company is doing in the short and long term - Product and Engineering have had lots of turn-over in the last few years - Products have stagnated for long periods of time and fail in many ways to be competitive in the security market - Success in 3rd party testing has been difficult making it harder for Malwarebytes products to compete - Communication and collaboration between teams is often difficult, resulting in stakeholders being ignored
