Pros

There are some very good things about working at MS -You will be able to put very good topics on your resume. You may have no clue how to do them, but future employers will want to see that you were "exposed" to them and it will help. -The people you will work with will be diverse and some of them will be cool. You will have a lot of fun commiserating with them. - When you travel (this is very rare for most of the American employees) you will be making very good money.

Cons

-Very long hours (often for no reason) -Pay that is embarrassingly low -Overrated "career advancement" opportunities. 99% of employees will quit long before they can benefit from the built-in trajectory. -You will often find yourself working with colleagues that are essentially making 3x as much as you by virtue of their living in free fancy downtown apartments, free flights, and a very generous per-diem. This is all because they happen to be from Spain and not from the States.

Pros

-Client Exposure: Most projects give young employees high visibility to the client at an earlier stage as compared to other firms. -Clear promotion path: Most employees will advance through the ranks at a regular annual pace -Good salary increases: High rate of salary and bonus increase as compared to other consulting firms. -Quick advancement for those who demonstrate responsibility: In most cases, those employees who demonstrate competence, maturity, and focus will be given broader responsibilities at a rapid rate as compared to other firms. -Young teammates: Most analysts up to managers are young, making Management Solutions a great place to meet and work with young and motivated professionals. -Travel opportunities and benefits: Opportunities available to travel to Eastern/Southern US, Europe, and South America, though it is project-dependent. Travel benefits are typically better than the average consulting firm. -Multi-Cultural: The firm is diverse with a strong Spanish influence, offering exposure to other cultures and ways of doing business -Stepping Stone: The company offers a variety of financial services-focused management consulting projects which can help build resumes and experience for those beginning a career in business. -Smaller Firm in US: The firm has a relatively small presence in the US, but this can be used as a benefit for those with entrepreneurial ambition. -Projects with Impact: The firm focuses mainly on back-office functions for financial services firms, but the projects have clear outcomes and impacts on the way the client operates. There is reward in seeing your work make an actual difference rather than just being considered as advice.

Cons

-Training: Though the firm offers several courses, much of it is not well prepared and not relevant to the projects most employees are engaged in. The firm needs to offer more structured programs with clear and practical relevance to the consultants' projects. -Project-dependent experience: Depending on the composition of each project team, the positive or negative experience of each project can vary widely. -Narrow clientele: In the US, the firm has a very limited client base. Project subjects may vary, but they are typically limited to the same client. -Limited US Infrastructure: Though the firm is 1400+ globally, the local US office infrastructure and support groups (HR, Legal, etc) are very limited, and employees can feel this effect. -Low starting salary: though increases are high, the starting salary is lower than comparable consulting firms in the US. -Spanish focus: All of the senior leadership down to supervisor level is Spanish. The culture pervades the firm even in local US offices, which can be both a benefit and a con.

Pros

The learning stepping curve is awesome for the starting years. You enter in projects where you cowork with team mates that have a great CV. The exposure at high client employees is incredible (my first project was a direct client reporting one). They also bring you the opportunity of making a two years Master Degree at Business Consulting where you can choose an specialization (such as banking, energy sector etc) in the most prestigious university in Spain. Every year awerage performance staff obtains a double digit salary raise.

Cons

They should create an external image of excellence. Top students still choose consultancy firms such as Mckinsey/ BCG/ OW better than MS.
