*too much interference from senior managers, store runs much more smoothly with little interruption. *last minute changes all the time so difficult to make any plans to cover training, team development. *too many unrealistic expectations to change things but senior managers want everything done perfectly all the time with stupidly small time frames. *no chance to work on feedback areas, numerous times we were told that we need to break floor moves smaller to achieve better results but when we try to we are told it has to be done quicker?!? *very clicky environment to work in, difficult to know whether people are being honest or will speak behind your back *very dated stores apart from new openings which seem to be prioritised over older, bigger stores *staff areas are diabolical, no nice environment to eat or relax on breaks *not enough lockers for staff *not enough focus on people and ensuring people are happy and motivated, too much focus on work work work so everyone works hard but for no reward *unachievable monthly targets

Low pay and commission is only 1%. Our store in Flushing, NY normally only had enough customers for 1/3 staff members to make their quota. We were a great team and all good with customers so sometimes we would take turns or help each other meet goals. If we all tried equally, no one would meet the quota.
