- low wages, increasing only minimum wage each year - not fair for other employees
- not appreciated enough for the work you do
- head office and area managers are really bossy and rude, having unrealistic expectations, not having an idea about how the store actually works - if they would be a store manager they wouldn't last even a day
- uniforms are ugly and uncomfortable, should be able to pick from the stock we sell
- a lot of pressure from the top, everyone being stressed even they try to act positively
- short on staff and still cutting down hours
- won't let have more hours during summer even they have it available
- no extra pay for bank holidays and overtime
- horrible working environment, heater not working properly during winter, so staff is freezing but still has to wear the uniform, no place where to sit and eat etc., sharing disgusting toilets with maintenance staff of the shopping centre
- staff having certain job positions but doing work that is for one level higher
- shop assistants need to do security guards, as the company wouldn't hire them, so then we are behind with tasks
- not realizing that it might not be our fault as a store that we are not selling that much, but rather their fault
