Pros

Large company with endless opportunities if you are willing to cross train and at times, move. Fun environment and a true industry leader

Cons

In some areas, the pay can be considered low. Because of an evolving industry and time, there can be alot of change structurally, it is for a greater good and if you are OK with that going in, you will be fine.

Pros

The friends you make are the best part, for the most part a great group of people from Lot Ops right through to the Office Employees. The job is primarily driving cars around to be staged or prepped for the next auction sale. Quite a bit, you can find money in the various compartments of a vehicle that haven't gone through detail yet. I've gotten as much as $25 in cash and regularly anywhere from $2 to $8 in change, so be sure to search when the chance arises. 15 minute breaks, 30 lunch and plenty of time in between if you're a smoker or need to use the washroom or grab a water or pop.

Cons

Some people are weird, even unstable and you have to deal that, and that's normal, but this place had some real unique characters come and go. It can come with a lot of drama when fellow employees work in close knit groups and have a social life together outside of work as well. As for the cars, it can be a good experience driving new, clean cars or it can be a horrible experience if you're moving repossessed junkers where clearly the owner was a disgusting slob, or worse even living out of their vehicle. Make sure to check the seat for regular items such as used condoms or syringes before sitting down and always wear gloves. Minimum wage. Most likely little or no room for advancement. Outdoor work so it can be extremely hot (120 degrees and up) inside sitting cars in the summer, and freezing, snow covered cars needing defrosting, brushing off and warming up. It takes a toll after moving 40 or more cars with no working windows, air, heat, etc. You have to dress appropriately.
