Pros

Great coworkers, plenty of work, satisfaction of getting people to work. Exposure to a variety of computer software and systems. Lots of job training. Overall great job satisfaction and great not dreading going to work.

Cons

Most hires are considered "internal temps" for a long time with expensive benefits and no paid time off. Getting hired on can be arbitrary and some of the best employees don't get hired on for years. The process for being hired on permanently can take several months as it is not considered a priority. Management is quick to reprimand and uses this often as a way to justify not providing raises or benefits (great employees with great performance get scolded for miniscule mistakes).

Pros

The ability to place others into good jobs and know you are making a difference in their lives is positively immeasurable! Offered quality assignments to temps and successfully negotiated temp-to-perm opportunities for successful long-term employment.

Cons

Leadership didn't provide training or support. Manpower branches felt disjointed and not connected to home operations.
